I believe that I too soon will be thrown into one of these camps. They do not seem to care that I previously had total control of this land. They are using whatever they want including our resources and food supply. We have no escape because we are surrounded by water and do not have high quality ships. We will be stuck working for them forever and will never be able to get out, i will never again lead this great land. 

 They are making us extract resources that our nation is rich of such as chili peppers and wood. They are taking everything us natives used to use in our daily lives. We have vast forests but with them here i’m  not sure how long they will be around. These new people just came in and ruined everything our civilizations were. We have large amounts of fossil fuels that we are forced to collect for them. I need to be freed from here before I die from poor treatment.  

 Personally, I think them coming and taking over is good and I don’t think everyone should be mad about them coming. I admit that before we came we were not very advanced and I think their invasion is helping us become a more modern. Plus, their resistance movements are failing. They have started to make a new type of resistance formed off of nationalism and it is starting to turn into a new urban middle class. I think that they should let them control because they are doing what is best to become more colonized. With them invading and taking control it will make take further steps into the future.

My trading post sells tin, oil, rubber, spices, sugar, and many more things. These raw materials are wanted for industries and factories. I export them to many places all over the world. I have plantations to grow my products and there are peasants to work on them as wage laborers. Even though the conditions are not very good for them and many die, my profits are high. The less I pay them, the more money I receive. My raw materials have granted me with a lot of money and I now have high profits. 

 The first thing we did was learn their native languages. That took quite a lot, learning spanish. After I became fluent in Spanish I started learning what their religion was. I then placed them in a room with me and started preaching about Christianity. After a while some of the natives converted. Soon most of the savages were changed their religion. As soon as most of them were changed I left on our ship the Maria.

When we arrived my job was to survey the land for spices. Their land was covered with different spices. Fill with lemongrass, chili peppers, basil, and mint leaves. They were using these herbs to their advantages. Instead, it was just sitting there waiting to be taken. So we conquered these Asian and took their land. If they aren’t able to fight back then they should be eradicated.

We I arrived there the place was in terrible conditions. Houses still made out of sticks. So I took charged and cleared out all their land. Made the houses out of bricks. Started a cotton plantation. I also find a trusty filipino named Ching Chong. He was the philippians former king before we came. I restored his power and told him he would be answering to me. What I do it’s for the best for all of humanity.

They are using up all of the fossil fuel and i’m afraid they will use up everything we have as a civilization. It is not fair that they can just come in and change everything about us and also take everything that was and should still be ours. Someone should be appointed to a position that could prevent this. Someone that can stand up for the civilizations that are not strong enough to stand up for themselves. I have given up everything and it was not by choice; these people need to be stopped.
