Mise-en-scene

When it comes to the mise-en-scene of the movie, I feel as though the scenes feel quite limited but the characters and costumes are perfect for the time period of the movie. The setting for the movie acts as a parody of Germany in the 1940s where the country in the movie is called Tomainia. The people of the ghetto draw similarities towards the Jews of Germany during the 1940s without the showing of mass murder of course. The people of the palace also draws similarities to the real-life people of the 1940s Germany and Italy as well. When it comes to the music soundtrack of the movie, I find it entertaining and fun when it needs to be but the music will somber and calm when it comes feeling pathos. All actors were on point throughout the entire movie by keeping their characters on track but the best moment of the movie was when one of the actors went out of character in order to convey a message.
