Regular verbs are verbs whose past tense versions are formed by adding an -ed to the end, such as 'walk,' 'climb,' 'decide,' 'describe,' 'drop,' 'want,' 'call,' and 'beg. ' A simple past sentence contains only the past tense verb, as in 'She walked to school.

Simply reading through this list will help you to recognize an irregular verb when you see one.

Present tense

Affirmative: I’m french.

Negative: I’m not from Spain.

Interrogative: ¿Where’s she?

Affirmative: I was tired this morning.

Negative: He wasn’t at the cinema with us.

Interrogative: Maria and Carlos were in love.

Affirmative: He's inside the house.

Negative: You aren’t ugly.

Interrogative: ¿Where does Peter come from

Affirmative: He was surprised.

Negative: I wasn’t drinking soda.

Interrogative: ¿Was she from Italy?
