Skills Development Scotland are trying something new for Scottish Careers Week and hosting an event for aspiring content creators and social influencers who are currently in senior phase.

It will be a practical day of workshops and a panel Q and A with some professionals in the industry. Held on 10 November, in Glasgow, we are capping it to 30 pupils who are thinking about a creative, entrepreneurial career and we will hopefully showcase the wide range of meta skills required to make it as a success.

Enterprise Showcase

Our Week will conclude with an Enterprise Showcase event on Friday 14th November 09.30 – 12.00 at Bellshill Academy where primary and secondary pupils will present their experiences from programmes delivered by partners including:

Young Enterprise Scotland
Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)
Social Enterprise Academy
The King’s Trust
North Lanarkshire Council Enterprise Team

This event will bring these programmes to life, as pupils share their journeys and achievements. Representatives from each partner organisation will also be in attendance to discuss how they can support your school in delivering enterprise education.

Online Career Talks

The Hive will open it's doors to North Lanarkshire Schools with the aim to inspire and empower schoolgirls from across North Lanarkshire to explore entrepreneurship as a career pathway and learn how to start their own business.
