People have been chopping down forest and fishing out fish to extinction. Most forests have been chopped down to have more spaces for houses and buildings. Animals have been running into roads and neighborhood, witch harm humans too. While the animals roam around the neighborhood and harming humans because the humans have taken their home.

But on that note they get cared for when sick or hurt. Most animals that end up in the zoo wouldn't be able to take care of themselves, like if they're too young or hurt. People in the neighborhoods typically panic or call animal services. animal services is like an animal shelter but they take more than 2 animals.
