         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>nella MONOSOMIA avviene la perdita di un solo cromosoma, quindi l’individuo nelle sue cellule avrà 45 cromosomi; le monosomie riguardano solo il cromosoma X (sindrome di Turner). Monosomie per gli autosomi sono letali.</p></li><li><p>nella TRISOMIA c’è la presenza di un cromosoma in più e l’individuo avrà 47 cromosomi nelle sue cellule.</p><p>Le trisomie degli autosomi causano morte del feto, a parte la trisomia dell’8, del 13 e del 18 che determinano una morte precoce; solo nel caso della trisomia 21 (sindrome di Down) si ha sopravvivenza fino alla vita</p><p>adulta.</p><p>La presenza di un cromosoma X (XXX) in più nelle femmine dà effetti variabili, la trisomia XYY non dà effetti nei maschi, la trisomia XXY è la sindrome di klinefelter.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
