<title>They are similar in that they are meant to help students succeed. UDL is focused on designing a flexible lesson plan that provides multiple means of representation of learning for students, providing various choices of action and expression for students, and various forms of engagement. UDL is the basis of library instruction, so many of these concepts are embedded in my lessons. A virtual learning environment is very conducive to UDL as you have the option of curating resources and representing learning in so many different ways online.</title>

<title>Similar in concept, UDL focuses more on design to give access to ALL learners. The importance of modeling, choice, and multiple means of teaching and demonstration of learning resonated the most with me.</title>
