We had a big storm, lots of rain, mud slides and Floods which caused deaths and destruction in a lot of things like roads, streets, communications, houses, rivers and streams. The areas where we had more destruction were, Funchal, Ribeira Brava, Seixal, Calheta, Ponta do Sol and Câmara de Lobos. It was a natural disaster that humans had contributed for. There is a lot of things that we can do to prevent these things. It was an unforgettable day for people who live in Madeira but for bad reasons, so we have to conserve our planet to stop these disasters. There is a lot of solutions for it like: cleaning the rivers, building in appropriated places, clean the forest and indicate dangerous places. Natural disasters are also caused by humans, so we have to prevent them! It all started before with a rain storm that provoked mud slides and floods. It all resulted in deaths and caused destruction in roads, it affected communications and destroyed houses and rivers. The places which were most affected by this disaster were Funchal, Ribeira Brava mostly Serra d’Água, Seixal, Calheta, Ponta do Sol, Câmara de Lobos, mostly Curral das Freiras.
