-got his gene from his parents who are skilful in handling repairs
-he did not stop pursuing his dream after accident
-he almost faced bankruptcy due to his poor business management
- innovative as he introduced something that people never thought about, for example he attached a 50c.c. engine onto the bicycle

Innovation Value Chain:
1. First phase, Idea Selection
-Select the good ideas and eliminate bad ideas
2. Second phase, Idea Conversion
-Screen, filter and develop the ideas
3. Third Phase, Idea Diffusion
-Marketing the ideas
-Introducing the ideas to the society

 Persistent, not giving up easily if we encounter any failures.

 Able to make full use of limited materials. Example Honda use hot water bottle to make oil tank and extract oil from pine tree root to make fuel.

 Able to work with others in order to achieve success. Example Honda work with Fujisawa to run his company.

 Accept and receive ideas, suggestion from the younger generation's perspective.

Motivation: Honda gave a task to the young engineers and designers to create high performance and low emission engine.

Persistent: Honda failed to produce piston rings but after 3 years he successfully produced a high quality pisto.n rings
Gratitude: Even though Honda retired,he still went all over Japan to visit all the Honda facilities.
Cooperative: Honda work together with Takeo Fujisawa to manage his business.

Good leadership in SOICHIRO HONDA:
Being an innovator and entrepeneur, SOICHIRO demostrate his leadership skills when he expand Honda Motor Company business to America after winning GP.

Problem solving by younger  generation:
Soichiro assign his younger innovators and engineers to create a low emission with.high.performance engine to encounter air legistation

Innovation value chain:
the phase for creating innovation which is idea generation, idea conversion and idea diffusion

Every process of innovation is similar with the innovation value change

Each phase of innovation value chain has to be managed holistically.
