Welcome to Intercollegiate Cooperation of Joensuu Parish Unions padlet! (or in short ICPU)

ICPU is the product of cooperation between Evangelical Lutheran parishes and higher education institutions here in Joensuu. Ev.lut. churches work with University of Eastern Finland, Universities of applied sciences and vocational schools.

On Instagram and Facebook you can see what we're up to and get updates on upcoming events. Facebook is the main channel, where upcoming events will be posted.

Ev. lut. churches home page offers more interesting activities and ofcourse also has practical information like contact info and addresses. 

At the end of Padlet page you can give feedback. The first feedback-box is for events and open feedback (ex. what you think of the event you went to). Praise or criticism, all is welcome. The second box is for new ideas regarding events/activities. Is there some new activity you'd like to see come to life? Tell us! <3

Suomen korkeakoulut ja luterilainen kirkko tekevät yhteistyötä keskenään. Joensuun seurakuntayhtymän oppilaitospapit työskentelevät Itä-Suomen yliopiston ja Karelia-ammattikorkeakoulun Joensuun kampuksilla sekä ammattiopisto Riverian toimipisteissä. Oppilaitosyhteistyö tarjoaa opiskelijoille ja nuorille aikuisille mm. seuraavia tapahtumia: raamiksia, haalarimessuja ja patikointiretkiä, jokaiselle löytyy jotakin! Tämän lisäksi oppilaitospapit ovat läsnä niin opiskelijoille kuin oppilaitosten henkilökunnalle.

Finnish higher education institutions and the Lutheran Church collaborate with one another, that's how intercollegiate cooperation is created. The campus chaplains of the Joensuu Parish Union serve at the University of Eastern Finland and Karelia University of Applied Sciences campuses in Joensuu, as well as at the vocational college Riveria’s sites. This partnership offers students and young adults events such as Bible study sessions, boilersuit‐liturgies, and hiking excursions - there’s something for everyone! In addition, the campus chaplains are present for both students and institutional staff.
