         <description><![CDATA[<div>Three of the defendants were acquitted, four (including <a href="http://school.eb.com/levels/middle/article/Albert-Speer/337086">Albert Speer</a>) were sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 10 to 20 years, three (including <a href="http://school.eb.com/levels/middle/article/Rudolf-Hess/326249">Rudolf Hess</a>) were sentenced to life imprisonment, and 12 were sentenced to death by hanging. Ten of those men were hanged on October 16, 1946</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> October 14,1946 <br> Two days, in two days me, Hans frank will be hung for my unspeakable actions. This is the first time I have felt remorse for my actions. Me being Hitler's personal lawyer makes my time even worse. I was brainwashed by his words. I personally believed that Jews were the main source of all of Germany's problems.<br>  I sit here in this holding cell pondering. Why did I do this? I could be a happy German going to the store with my family or going to watch a film. But no, I'm in a holding cell pondering my life choices. This is all my fault. I let myself be brainwashed by him. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>October 24,1945 </div><div>   I'm awaiting trial in Nuremberg. It is cold and dark in this holding cell. I have just enough light to see what I'm writing. I have no remorse to what I have done to those undeserving Jews. Although I know the consequences are going to be terrible. I'm writing this the day before I'm going to take my own life. </div><div>  I have just been fed what seems like cleanup from a pig sty. I despise this place, but it will all be gone in a single day. I still feel no remorse for my actions. I have nothing to do in this cell but write. I'm considering taking my life earlier. </div><div> </div>]]></description>

I will finally be able to go to my family. I will finally be able to see a film. Or go to the store. </div><div>  Before, I was always across the world. I was always stressed. But now I can go home and enjoy life. Instead of having to always stress abut planning moves and struggling financial moves in the army. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>September 5,1946&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;  I'm 1 year into my 12-year sentence. This has been dreadful.&nbsp; I am already regretting the past 10 years of my life. I have been placed on the same hall of murderers and famous thief's.&nbsp;<br>I am pondering how I could be put in the same category as some of these people.&nbsp;</div><div>  I have started to realize that I am going to be here for 11 more years. The fact that i also must accept is that there is nothing I can do about it. I am questioning my entire life choices. I'm also pondering why and how did I even get into this.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>December 4,1947&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; I am a day from escaping this stone box with metal bars. To think that I will finally be out of dreadful place is unfathomable. I think that the guards are on to me. That just may be a suspicion. I am becoming paranoid, at least I think.&nbsp;</div><div>  I&nbsp;am only a few hours from escaping this box. My gut is filled with excitement but also fear. I feel as if my legs are paralyzed and I cannot move. I can't even force myself out of this bed. The fear has overwhelmed me.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
