On 5th May we celebrate the Orthodox Easter in Georgia. Our beautiful 2nd and 4th grade students, who are participating in this project, made this festival even more colorful and fruitful. At the lesson with 2nd graders we spoke about Easter traditions all around the world, told Easter Bunny stories, played 'egg hunting' activities, painted cards.

With 4th graders we spoke about Orthodox Easter celebration in Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Greece, discussed about similarities and differences, created informative and colorful presentations.

Easter celebration.

The main Easter tradition is egg painting and swinging. There is a belief, that if you swing high on Easter, mosquitoes will not bite in the summer.

In the kindergarten, we celebrated Easter the day after the Easter holidays - we rolled eggs, swung and made Easter cupcakes together.
