My dream college at the moment is Wake Forest which is a 4-year private university in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I want to get married in the future but don't plan on having kids of my own. I am open to adoption or fostering children.

Ever since I was little, I was taught that kindness is the only way to handle things. I have been through a lot and found that even though sometime, when you really want to say something rash because that same attitude is being directed towards you, that isn't how you should treat people. I believe in open-mindedness and listening to others opinions because even if somebody has a different out look on an idea than you, that doesn't necessarily mean that they are incorrect or that you are incorrect, just that you both have different opinions; and I believe both parties can learn from each other in a positive way.

My school experience

My school experience has definitely had some ups and downs. When I started school, I was put into a private school from kindergarten to 7th grade, But I did spend my 2nd grade year in a different private school in California because my dad is military. During that period, my family found out I had a few learning set backs. I was tested for dyslexia but never got a proper diagnosis, therefore I was put through years of tutoring until I was in 5th grade. During my 7th grade year, I was accepted into a charter school my last year of middle school and went. During my 8th grade year, I met some of the best people that I am still friends with right now. Then, I went into freshman year and made even more friends and joined student government, but this was all ruined by Covid-19 later that year. I still remained on student government throughout my sophomore year, but lost a lot of my friends due to loss of contact. I am now on my Junior year of high school and I am currently 3rd in my class, still on student government, a part of Spanish National Honor Society, and currently on track to receive International Baccalaureate Full Diploma at the end of senior year.

My definition of leadership is: An ability a group of people or a single person has to guide another group of people. This could be a teacher leading their classroom or a parent leading their child. There are leaders in everything that we do.

I believe a leader should have the following skills/ characteristics: extroverted, good with public speaking, risk takers, knowledgeable, open-minded, balanced, supportive, kind, and honest. I believe that a leader should have a love for the people that they lead (a teacher should have love for students, doctors should have love for patients etc.).

If I had to be one animal I would be a giraffe. I believe I have a lot in common with a giraffe, such as height. I have been very tall and skinny since I was little and I was never able to quite control my limbs. I also relate to giraffes because they adapt to different situations very well. As a military kid, I have moved all over the place and I have had to learn to adapt to ew situations very quickly. I also just feel like giraffes are just really cool animals.
