A media product needs to be of a high standard as people in cases of a music magazine will be buying the product which means it needs to be of a high standard for people to be interested in buying the product. The image is usually in the centre of the magazine and is in-font of all the text to make it stand out more and give it a more eye-catching effect. As you can see this follows the convention of the other music magazine shown as the mastheads going across the page as the one word is will be easy for people to remember. My front also has one main image covering most of the page. I have used a medium shot for my front cover of my model as you can see all of her upper body. This is like the magazine VIBE as you can see a lot of their models upper body. My model is looking away from the camera camera looking aggressive. The main headline is the word TEEJ and GSPITZ an this has the biggest font out of all the other wording on my magazine front cover. This is the biggest font as it is the most important part of the front cover as the main article is about TEEJ and GSPITZ in the magazine so the reader will know the magazine is based around them. This is a typical convention used as Billboards front cover has Bruno Mars as the biggest font in the magazine which shows that is the most important part of their magazine. I also have a large column on my contents page which lists of things that will be in the magazine and where to find them each page also has a little description underneath them. This is a very important convention as it tells the reader what is in the magazine and as you can see, other existing magazines have a large column of their magazine because if there was not a column, then people wouldn't know what is in the magazine. Pulled quote is a Quote which is a stand out comment in the article. Main image is what tells the reader who the article/interview is about. As you can see the existing double page spreads also have a main image which shows it is important. I have also included a main image stands out a lot and fits with the article. My colour theme for all the products has been kept as well as I have used the colours black, yellow and white which is the same for the contents page and the front cover.
