1. Because of CAFO´s meat is now so cheap that many of us eat it three times a day.
2. When a cow eats grass, it does not kill the plant. Grasses have evolved so they can survive being eaten very well.
3. Cattle raised on grass simply take longer to grow than cattle raised on corn.
4. Tremendous amounts of corn, food supermarket and drugs are used to get steer from 80 to 1100 pounds in 14 months.

1. Since their are so many cows in the feed lot, the cows are stepping in their own manure.
2. Because of the new way the CAFOs are taking care of their cow, the cows can get a deadly bacteria.
3. Farmers now kill their cows at only a few months old, but back then they would kill them at about two years old.

1. Tons of animal manure produced with no good way to disposing of it. The feedlots are also breeding new grounds for new and deadly bacteria.
2. The life span of cattle has been shortened from 4-5 years, now to 14-16 months because of them being feed corn.
3. Cattles are being feed corn so that the fatten up more quickly which results in death.
