The east side technically speaking isn't a great neighborhood. cook county isnt a very diverse neighborhood and most of its population is African american and Mexican. growing up i didnt have a lot of friends and i never fit in. before my parents split we were somewhat financially stable, but then after we became very poor and had to live in severe poverty for 4 years.
