Hello Astronaut, your duty is to capture the moon phase and report back to the Publisher. Luckily we don't have to wait till the moon phase to change, we have a special App that can simulate it.

Here are your instructions

1. Download the Moon Phase AR on your iPad with the link provided below.

2. Once you have set up the App, shift around till you see your designated moon phase. The App has already labeled the moon phase, you just have to wait till the sun shines onto it to get the best photo.

The New Moon is the first phase of the cycle. It occurs when the Moon is positioned directly between the Sun and the Earth.

The Moon has no illumination at all  because it has blocked all the sunlight that would normally hit the earth. The illuminated side is facing away from us.

The greatest difference between high and low tide, also known as spring tides, takes place during this Moon Phase.

The New Moon represents the start of a new Lunar cycle, it symbolises new beginnings.

3. Once you have entered the App click on the "Indoor Discovery View"

4. Let the App adjust to your surroundings before you begin

5. Once the App has fulled loaded explore the augmented model of the Moon, Sun and Earth.

6. The speed of the moons orbit is adjustable so accelerate it so it gets to your moon phase faster and once you have arrived to your moon phase reduce the speed to the lowest setting. It will give you the perfect amount of time to take the ideal photo.
