We chose this analogy because, just as we understand what plants need in order to flourish we understand that students as well need certain nourishments in the form of teaching tools, strategies and resources in order grow and learn.

The field needs to be conducive to active involvement. If the nets are broken and the field is unkempt, you won’t want to play. You also can’t practice in a locker room. You need to space. The film breakdown is specific to each player. The coach then uses that to change game play or allow for further training of players. The classroom is the same. The environment needs to match what outcomes we desire. Feedback needs to be specific and lessons adjusted accordingly.

Having a recipe allows you to see what your needs are, a chef tasting spoon accumulating the needs of the students and going back to the cabinet to see if there are any changes that can be implemented for a successful recipe/students

Throughout the preseason you analyse games and make the necessary changes either to positions or formation according to which will work best for the team in 90 minutes

Next we coach the game plan to the players in order for them to get used to the game plan and see the vision (what we working towards)

The coach understands the players and their ability

Firstly in the football there's a single objective which is for the entire team to win.

This objective is made known to all players by the coach before the start of the game. And even before that, there's a training session to assess the best level of each player and confirm on which position they best suit for the objective to be achieved

Once they get to the pitch, even while the game is ongoing the coach ensures to follow up with the team to be sure that they're all doing the needful to achieve the objective by watching each and every player and communicating with them in case of shortcomings.

Also, the coach makes sure that at the end of the match a plenary is done to ensure that in subsequent games there will be a better game comprehension to achieve the objective of winning
