The monster than comes alive at midnight, but conor wasn't scared of it. Then the next morning he didn't belive that it happened. Conor's mom has to take medication for her cancer. Conor helps out around the house, and mom really appreciates it.

There's this kid at school named Harry, Harry was popular. Sully beat up conor, but conor lied to the teach and got Lily in trouble, for trying to help. At 12:07 am the monster is looking at conor. The monster tells conor on how he is the most evilest monster of all, and wants conor to listen to him, the monster wants to tell conor wild stories, thenconor will tell the monster a fourth ('conor's truth'). The monster wants to hear conor's nightmare, or conor gets eaten alive. Grandma wants conor to live with her.

Conor wasn't afraid of the monster in the beginning because, when conor was young, he had been through hard relationships with family (dad), and mom having cancer. Conor probally developed faster than a child who didn't have much troubles. Conor had to be brave, in order to take care of himself. After the monster have told the story, Conor wasn't freaked out on how the queen was buried alive. Conor probably can't believe that the monster is real, or really true, this can show trust issues. Maybe when Conor's dad left, Conor has been having some trust issues with other people. He probably finds the monster hard to believe, because when his father left, Conor found that hard to belive, that his dad is gone. Ever since lily told people about Conor's mom, Conor has been getting looks, when he tried to talk or raise his hand in school. Now Conor isolates himself, and is completely invisible in the world.

The monster will continue to tell his stories, so that Conor will become wiser and learn from them. The monster tells these stories, that have happened in the past. While the monster tells Conor these scary stories, Conor starts to realize the scariest stories, of what have happened. Now that Conor will listen to the stories, Conor will soon become even more brave, than he was before. I think this because, Conor's thoughts about the monster has changed from being scared to feeling annoyed, coming to the monsters stories.

I think conor's grandmother reacted they way she did because, although grandma is very unloving. She still is a grandmother, and cares for conor. She even covered her mouth before she had sweared in front of conor, showing how she wants to set a good representation for conor. I think being a grandmother is a huge deal for someone, they're like your kid, you want them to have a good representative.

The monster tells Conor that after the 3rd tale, his nightmare will come. Harry says "I no longer see you." Which basically means that Conor is invisible, as in no one notices him anymore. Conor gets mad at the fact when Harry says something about Conor's mom, and also the fact when Harry says Conor is invisible. Conor gets mad and beats up Harry, but Conor doesn't really do it himslelf. The monster gains conrol on conor and beats up Harry for him.

In the first tale, the prince killed the farmers daughter. This tale shows how not everyone is either a bad guy, or good guy, sometimes in between. The tale show this to conor, maybe to show ow conor's grandmother is not a bad buy, nor a good guy. In the second tale, Parson needed Apothecary to save his daughters. This tale related to how conor will need help from the monster, but the monster will not be there to help conor. In the third tale, Conor and the monster beat up Harry after Harry told Conor how he was invisible. This tale shows conor, how lonely/invisible conor is in real life.

In the movie, the movie started with conor's dream, and showed viewers what his dream was about. I suspected the movie to show the dream at the end, like the book.

I would revise the mom, like Ms. Briarton said, the mom didn't mean my expectations. I would have a girl who looked weak and skinnier, and maybe had dopey eyes, and bad eye circles. Also, the voice would be soft, and voice cracks, and with no strength. The character would then look dull and weak, so the cancer could sound bad.
