for Ramadan is here!

It's entered homes of people

who are living far or near.

In this month, we Muslims fast,

since Allah told us to,

It's not as hard as you might think;

an easy thing to do.

We wake up early in the night

and eat an early meal,

Then we go and pray Fajr;

the fast becomes quite real.

After that, the sun comes up,

and we don't eat or drink,

But once again, it's not as hard

as some people might think!

We wait until the sun goes down;

that's when we break the fast,

We eat a date and other things.

It wasn't hard to last!

Then, in the night, after Isha,

we pray Taraweeh as well.

Eight or twenty raka'at,

then it's to bed until

We wake up early once again,

the cycle resumes to run.

And that's the normal day

schedule during the month of Ramadan!

Its a month

Of patience

And endurance

Ramadan

Its a month

where we give

and take none

Ramadan

It is a month we love

we learn to listen

and we empathise

However more

I want Ramadan to last

there's a celebration

waiting for us

And;

As Ramadan flies away

We remember our lessons

and still do the same

Don't only sleep!

But remember dhikr too!

I know how hard it seems;

But still wake up early!

Pray your salah

Endure with patience

And there's reward

Waiting on the doorstep

Don't despair ;)

For coming up soon;

will be Eid

Gather up all your gear!

We need to fast

from when the sun is up

Till it goes down

Don't be afraid

It's a holy month

We love we endure it

We want it so much

It comes every year

To say hello

BUT! Even When Ramadan is gone

We keep it in our hearts

Do the same as we did

For that one blessed month

Its teachings we retain, Eid awaits,

A celebration we can't contain, The lessons learnt,

the love that we share, In our hearts,

Ramadan will always be there

we find our way,

A month of light,

a time to pray.

From dawn till dusk,

we fast and reflect,

In this sacred time,

our hearts connect.

Laylat al-Qadr,

the blessed night,

We gather to pray,

seeking what's right.

Lessons retained

as Ramadan goes awy,

Eid's celebration,

joy in our hearts.
