In Poland you have to go to school, when you're 7, but you can go in the age of 6, too. In class 1-3 your classteacher teaches you every subject (without English, IT and Re-
ligious). In first class, they teach you most of all reading and writing, in second class-multiplying and di-
viding and in third class basics of Maths and Polish.
b) 4=8 class
In classes 4-8 you have a diffrent teacher for every subject. You gets book from school, but you have to
give them back in the end of the year. In the end of 8 class you have to take a final exam (so called eight-class student exam).
2.Middle school
In Poland there are two types of middle schools: secondary schools
and technical schools. In seconda-
ry school they teach most of all fu-
ture electricians or plumers. Secondary schools are divided for
two types: grammatic schools and
vacational schools. Gramatic schools hasn't got special proffesional profile and vacational
schools has got it. Grammatic schools are considered as ''better''
and vacational schools -as ''worse''
In age of 18 you have to acceded to
secondary school leaving exam(so called ''matura'') Middle schools aren'tobligatory, but most of pe-
