         <description><![CDATA[<div>Oppositional defiant disorder.&nbsp; A disorder in a child marked by defiant and disobedient behavior to authority figures.&nbsp; Symptoms generally begin before a child is eight years old. They include irritable mood, argumentative and defiant behavior, aggression, and vindictiveness that last more than six months and cause significant problems at home or school. it can make a child aggressive and anti-social.&nbsp; treatments are usually &nbsp; involves individual and family therapy.&nbsp; some children will<strong> </strong>outgrow some aspects of ODD. For example, a defiant teen may grow into a more easy-to-get-along-with adult. However, other behaviors may be life long. An aggressive two year old will very likely be an aggressive adult.&nbsp; is thought to be caused by a combination of biological, psychological, and social factors. ODD tends to occur in families with a history of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, or mood disorders such as depression or bipolar disorder<strong>s.&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; populations found such behavior in 16 to 22 percent of school age children&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Anorexia is an eating disorder characterized by abnormal low body weight, an intense fear of gaining and distorted perception&nbsp; of weight. Physical symptoms of this disorder include thin appearance, Dehydration, dizziness or fainting, swelling of arms or legs.&nbsp; Emotional and behavioral symptoms are exercising excessively, Severely restricting food intake through dieting or fasting, and covering up in layers of clothes. Causes for this disorder are biological, psychological, and environmental. Risk factors are genetics, dieting and starvation, and transitions like going to a new school or job even a relationship breakup. 30 million people of all ages suffer from anorexia.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Anorexia is an eating disorder causing people to obesess about weight and what they eat. It also coincides with increase levels of exercise. <br><br>Symptoms include weight loss, dehydration, dizziness, fainting, low blood pressure, and developmental issues.<br><br>Treatment: you can take medications to help you gain weight, therapy for intervention, interpersonal psychotherapy, and behavior therapy. you also see specialists to help.<br><br>Risk factors: if you are a&nbsp; female, you have an&nbsp; 85-95% chance of being anorexic. other risk factors are family history and if you smoke a lot .<br><br>How many people suffer: It is more common for females to have anorexia than males. Teenagers and young adults are the ones who suffer the most from this illness.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Bipolar Disorder is a mental disorder marked by alternating periods of elation and depression. Some symptoms are: mood swings, unwanted thoughts, manic episodes, typical falling asleep, weight gain or weight loss. Some treatment for it is medication and therapy. One medication they could take is; Antipsychotic. What that does is reduces the symptoms of certain conditions. For therapy you could go to support group, family therapy. Some risk factors are mental and mood disorder, lithium, and sodium valprate. Causes can come from genetic factors, biological traits, and brain-chemical; which appear to play a key role in mood disorders. The nature of our culture that is hyperfocused on thin-ideal internalization and general social pressure for thinness can also serve as a trigger for susceptible individuals. Other risk factors that have been identified for bulimia nervosa include substance abuse, feelings of inadequacy, experiencing early puberty, having too little to eat during childhood, psychiatric symptoms, and low appetite and emotional awareness.&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;One in 200 American women <strong>suffers</strong> from anorexia. Two to three in 100 American women <strong>suffers from bulimia</strong>. 1.1% - 4.2% of females <strong>suffer from bulimia</strong> nervosa in their lifetime.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Bulimia also known as bulimia nervosa is a serious potentially life threatening eating disorder characterized by a cycle of self bingeing such as self induced vomiting to avoid weight gain. Symptoms of Bulimia include extreme mood swings, dizziness, sleep problems, feeling cold all the time, cuts across the fingertips as a result of induced vomiting. There is also behavioral symptoms like skipping meals, hides body with baggy clothes, disappears after eating and also shows concern about there body weight and how they look. Treatments for Bulimia includes psychotherapy also known as therapy there you will talk about your issues with bulimia with a mental health professional who will help you, psychotherapy helps. Other options include Medications such as antidepressants or hospitalization. Risk factors include being teased and bullied about your weight having a close relative with an eating disorder, body image dissatisfaction, personal history of an anxiety disorder. 10%-15% of people with bulimia are male. Risk factors: if you are a  female, you have an  85-95% chance of being anorexic. other risk factors are family history and if you smoke a lot .

How many people suffer: It is more common for females to have anorexia than males. Teenagers and young adults are the ones who suffer the most from this illness. There is more than 200,000 us cases per year.
