  • What percentage of children (boys and girls) attend school in Australia? - All children in Australia are required to attend school, so 100%. 
  • How long do they go to school for? Secondary school is the highest “grade”. Secondary school is like high school where they finish at age 18. After that their is university. 
  • How much freedom do women have in Australia? -Women have equal rights and are gaining higher pay and promotion in society.
  • What types of violence/exploitation against women is there? -There is sexual harassment, domestic violence, and partner violence.

  • What types of healthcare system does your country have? -They have the beveridge model with some private practices
  • Who funds it (government, workers, employers)? -the government 
  • What are the pros and cons to your countries systems. Pros: you don’t have to pay for doctor bills and the government runs it. Cons: you have to pay the same taxes as everyone else even if you don’t go to the doctor.
