 We would like for you to know that your butterfly landed in Lincoln, Ma. Lincoln is a small town just outside of Boston, which is our state capital. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to the city.  Boston is known for its sports teams and lobster! Our school is called Lincoln Public Schools.  We are a METCO which makes us super lucky to have students who live in Boston come to our school which makes our community stronger. A fun fact about Lincoln is that it holds the capture site of Paul Revere, who was captured by the British during the Battle of Lexington and Concord! Right now we have no snow on the ground and it has been abnormally warm this winter. 

 We hope you have a great rest of your school year!

Today, in Mills River, NC, I saw Issac's butterfly land in my room! I am so excited that it chose western North Carolina as its new home.

I'm writing to let you know that we received a symbolic butterfly from your homeschool!  This butterfly started in your town, traveled to Mexico and then made its way back north to us!

Mattawan is located in west Michigan, about 45 minutes from Lake Michigan.  Mattawan Later Elementary has about 750 students in grades 3-5.  We're looking forward to the arrival of real monarch butterflies in a few weeks!

A student in Ms. Smith's fourth grade class received a symbolic Monarch from Samari!
