Theres no explanation on transformation. So i dont know whats going on there. However, your plan looks interesting yet, your elevation & your section still looks like shuttle cock. Remember that the brief asked you to come out with abstract scheme. so research on what is abstract structure.

instead of solid structure, study on you can create openess in your design. play with different think. use pinterest as your reference.
