No pollution and they work ok. Yet the pollution we’ve created has stopped the solar panels from working effectively.
In some country’s solar panels power output is cut by up to 25% from pollution.
Flat panels easily gather up dust and pollution particles further decreasing efficiency 
In India the amount of pollution on the solar panels are making them loose a billion watts.
