- Technology is becoming easier to produce for the masses as new materials allow for a lightweight product that is inexpensive and readily available. 
- CAD/CAM software has not foundationally changed in the past 40 years. Although some buttons may have changed, the general practice and idea have not.
-Knowledge of disability and prosthetics is not well-taught and therefore, not many people know about the effects/supports prosthetics can give to amputees.
