The Mid-Autumn Festival is on August 15th every year.It comes from an ancient legend.The reason I like this festival is because it is possible to eat grilled meat.

The Chinese New Year is on the 1st of January in the lunar calendar, you can go back to your hometown to reunite with your family, persistent a two weeks.
In the New Year, our door will paste Spring Festival couplets, family members will cook New year Eve dinner （年夜飯）, elders will give red envelopes to children and children say auspicious words, when all the dinner on the table, we will chat for a moment eating.

Chinese New Year is on January 1st of lunar month, about in February of national calendar.

Before Chinese New Year is New Year eve, everyone can go hometown to eat food with family at the moment, and people will give kids money in the red envelope, I favorite part is getting money, I will buy anything, so I very happy !

Chinese new year is a big activity in Taiwan because its origin is so old and full of esteemed. Chinese new year is on national calendar January or February every year, lunar calengar january 1st start until 15th. People will do many thing. For example, clean up environment and pay a New Year visit to else people, give family red envelope and share fun thing in life. During the Chinese new year, people will go to temple to worship devoutly, setting off fireworks and pasting spring festival couplets.
I like Chinese new year because we will meet distant relative every years and share things. In the vacation, my family and I will go trip often. In my grandmather home, we will eat year dishes very much, I like my grandmather's green beans sweet soup because it very cald and sweet, green beans is my favorite one. In the vacation end, we must get back into work mode.

We started celebrate national day since 1949. In national day, People enjoy the vacation. The office of the president hold a celebration, they hold a parade and show like cheerleading, watching the changing of the guard. Some choirs may sing songs in the office of president for blessing our country. Before these show. We have a ceremony is call “flag raising” we sing the National anthem of Taiwan in front of the flag and president.
 We celebrate National Day by these way. They’re very interesting, special and also means a lot to all of us!

This day we will eat rice dumpling(zongzi).It is ourtraditional food.There is have many type rice dumpling in Taiwan.Two of rice dumpling type is salty rice dumplings and sweet rice dumplings.some people will put yolk into salty rice dumplings.I love it very much.It's tastes delicious.We will hold dragon boat race too.Balancing eggs has always been my favorite part of Dragon Boat Fesival.
