Ringworm of the foot is more commonly known as Athlete’s Foot. Ringworm can affect a multitude of areas though, from the scalp to the groin. Ringworm is characterised by raised, white circular areas of the skin and skin irritations such as blisters and scaly and itchy patches. It may infect the mouth and cause raised white bumps to appear on the tongue and throat. Candidiasis is extremely treatable though, and it’s perfectly natural to have small amounts of the Candidiasis fungus on your skin. It only becomes dangerous when it isn’t regulated.
