As a postdoc office of X, I am (my team) is/are focused on . We would love to help, but with limited resources we need to deliver on the office's missions/objectives. We can suggest other volunteers to serve on the committee.

Hard to say no because there are so many great ideas! Hard to turn down, to redirect for others to do, or to delay to another time.

So unclear when I can say no as I'm asked to cover many aspects of lab management and undergrad training, which isn't really part of my post doc.
