Independent learning is the process of I learning on my own, for example researching on topics on my own without waiting for the help of anybody or anyone, and independent learning can help a lot, when it’s comes to knowledge because it’s self focusing, and when someone is learning on new things on there own, the person tends to understand more, because the person tend to use his or her attention

I will make a good study plan, read my class notes often, do extra research when I need to, and use online materials to learn more. I’ll also ask for help when I have problems and keep improving my skills through practice and checking my own progress.

A real life short example of independent learning is A graphic designer wants to learn 3D modeling. They watch YouTube tutorials, practice daily, and build a portfolio of 3D designs. When you go extra mile and dedicate more of your time in to what you are doing just in other to be different.

Personally I will take time to visit library, or using Internet to make more research on modules in order to have more and indept knowledge in the course.

How can I do that?

I need to have a reading plan by noting what topics I want to study and what task I need to finish.

I need to make researches to fully understand each Modules and also reflect on things been taught as well as always taking notes.

I have to study the modules ahead of each class and last but not the least like we were taught today, I need to be an active learner and not a passive listener.

Independent learning has to do with taking full responsibility of your study. This mean you have to work hard to get your credit at the end of your study. What I mean by working hard is spending more time in extra study.

As in my bachelor's degree I have done my final year report of "Civil Engineering" I have get helped from my teacher to how write and make a report and what to write from my college while doing internships in a firm where I get professional experience.

So concluding, It's our own responsibility to complete this course by independent learning. For this, Firstly I will do my own research from Library or notes on canvas or internet Research about my module. Further if there any problems to understand any topics so I will discuss it with my teachers or classmates. And I also know for all this I have give full time to studies and this preferences instead of job or outing with friend and wasting my time like other stuff.

And I think that this is good for me build me up in my future goals also a good challenging to see our abilities.

As a part time employee, I will put in place a structured plan which will also help my mental capacity and wellbeing so I can be able to deliver exceptional results.

-My structure will look like this: 3-5hrs of self study after work.

-On lectures days structure to me looks like this: 1-2hrs to reflect on topic of the day. 2hrs to plan for next lecture/session or workshop.

5, I'm full time worker, so I've to count with my working hours (40h) and tailor them my days off hours for productive studying

Independent learning helps to broaden a student’s knowledge in the course module.

As a student aiming to graduate with distinction in this course, I will take independent learning very seriously. I will always use the materials provided for me at the university library. I will also make my personal research and involve in voluntary activities that will help improve myself.
