An average speed for a normal speed skaters are around 20 miles. Bloemen Ted-Jan won first place for Canada in men's 10000 m race. Bloemen had a time of  12:39.77!  Bloemen also won a silver medal for Canada in men's 5000 m race with a time of  6:11.616! Great job Bloemen! 2. In speed skating it is were there is a track and you have to go a certain amount of laps  to get to the end in speed skating and in it we won a gold. In luge you have to lay down on your back and feet first and go on this track and once you get to the end you hit a little pad and Canada got silver. Tessa Virtue,and Scott Moir won a gold medal in figure skating.This Olympic's is there last one.The Canadian woman's hockey team won versing the women's Switzerland hockey team.Women curling was on,on day 10.The 2 teams were Japan vs Canada.

The Canadian team won against Switzerland in Curling. They won  7-2. They also won against Korea 7-3. Both of these games where played by Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris.

Cross Country
Sweden got the first medal of the Winter Olympics in Korea. The person who got the medal is named Charlotte Kalla. She won the first medal in skiing. Marit Bjoergen from Norway won the second, and
Krista Parmakoski from Finland taking the third.

Ice Hockey
Sweden scored the first goal in women's ice hockey, but soon after Korea scored the second. Rui Ukita scored for the Korean Team. Sweden won, but just barely by a score of 2-1. It was The first win of Women's Hockey in the Winter Olympics of Korea.
