The Boston Massacre was a street fight when Boston mobs threw stones and sticks at British Soldiers. No one to this day knows who fired first, but the next thing the group knew, five men were dead, making them angrier. This all started because the colonist was mad about unfair taxes and how the British were occupying their rights. This is important because this helped bring Boston colonists together to help defeat the British as a unit.
