Zamora, he eats it because he is very hungry. He doesn't know if he likes it or not, but eats it anyway. They greet Ben and Mr. Salinas with a “good afternoon” and they both respond in turn. Then, Mr. Salinas introduces Mr. Melara along with Mr. and Mrs. Zamora. The Zamora’s welcome Ben to El Salvador while Mr. Melara introduces himself. He is the director of the local program Ben is with and says he is there to provide Ben with anything he needs. Then, Mr. Zamora states they have much to do the next day, and Ben leaves with the Zamora family in their pickup. When he arrives he realizes there are a lot of people in the center of the city. When looking around he sees all the destruction from the earthquake. He sees the ruins of what used to be the cathedral. It might have well been completely destroyed only enough is standing for tourist to know what it was. But they progress on reconstructing the cathedral again has already begun. There is a large clock that seems to have broken during the earthquake that is stuck on the time 8:16. Ben continues to Examine the city while waiting for his next task.
