I played various instruments such as the flute, trumpet, clarinet, and drums. My favorite was the drums. I kept practicing the drums for 2 years to get better since it had sparked an interest in me. This spark and interest in music allowed me to play music outside of school because of the enjoyment I found in it.

This relates to the theme because it shows that after all those years of classes I started to form a passion for playing instruments and music. And with this, even after I stopped playing instruments in school, it became a hobby to me during my free time at home.

All these things made me think otherwise. My family would always go to ghost towns, houses that were abandon a long time ago, and museums as part of our family trips. I would go on trips to historic sites and see and learn about so many things I didn't know existed.

School art classes taught me different mediums of art and different kinds of techniques you can use. I practiced and learned as much as I could about the subject. That interest carried into middle school and it became something I was very passionate about. I made/practiced art all the time during school and outside school. Making art was something I really like(d) to do.
