Through this program, I have developed valuable skills that have strengthened my role as an Early Childhood Educator. I have learned how to effectively create weekly schedules that support children’s development, as well as how to communicate more professionally with parents. The program has also deepened my understanding of the different developmental domains children go through as they grow and has introduced me to useful resources to support my practice.

Although I had some experience in these areas before, this program has helped me become more confident and professional, especially in my communication and writing when interacting with families.

Taking the ECE course has benefited me in many different ways. It has taught me to be more patient and to understand how important early childhood development is. I have learned about the different domains of development—physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional—and how each one plays a crucial role in a child’s growth. This has helped me better understand why we are early childhood educators and how important our role is in supporting children’s overall development.

This course has benefited me in many ways, it has helped me learn some ways to communicate with parents/ coworkers, helped me learn the 5 domains which i use very much in the childcare.

It has helped me develop new skills such as sewing, craft making and about the Inuit culture.
