We tried kayaking, surfing, walking, orienteering, and cycling. Each activity brought a new experience. I really enjoyed the scenic views from the walk over the hills and through the abandoned famine village. As well as the magnificent scenes that we saw whilst on the bike ride along the Irish greenway. I found it very funny especially after we got made to give a partner a cat walk to do. As well as this we played a game where you had to get to one side of the room to the other whilst holding a stick with only one finger between your partner. I thought it was going to be awkward, but the comedians were hilarious and had everyone crying laughing after a few minutes. It felt more like a night out than a school trip, just without the chaos. In the seceret street tour we learnt about the history of Dublin castle and Steven’s green. One of our tour guides told us about a story from when he was younger when him and one of his mates snuck off to New York. At first I thought it'd be boring, just cycling behind the teachers, but it was actually fine once we got going.The park is huge and it was nice to be outside for a change. It was interesting to learn about the story’s of people from the past and their emigration story’s. It was fun to mess around with some of the props and participate in some of the illusions such as the shrinking room where it makes you really large on one side in the room and really tiny in the other. After the cinema we were given about half n hour to go around the market before we went ice skating. Although I came unprepared and forgot a pillow it was still good and great craic. Me , Lucas and Alex shared a tent which was definitely a tight squeeze to say the least . The first day we had to be up at all hours just to be at the airport at half 4 in the morning, so it was a groggy morning to say the least. Once we arrived in Italy our first stop was Verona in which me and Lucas got a pizza which was so nice.
