Germanic language was banned in French schools in 1945, but the people fought against this in the 1970s and now the language is spoken by almost half of its population.

Though not wore daily anymore, they might still be worn during some festivals. A Catholic women would wear a large red bow, while a Protestant women would wear a black one.
