Examples include expanding green spaces, tree planting, litter picking and localised sources of energy. There would be scope to share knowledge and experience (eg of green energy choices), and skills (eg gardening, coppicing) and to make links with other community groups in Newcastle and North Tyneside. We agreed to pilot a monthly meeting to act as a regular opportunity for developing these ideas and for information sharing.
