       From the reading material, Austin et al. said the benefit is that,” every state that enacted Three Strikes laws already had existing repeat offender laws on the books; and for many of those states, the change effected by Three Strikes was marginal.”
       Its criticizers said that actually the Three Strikes Policies did not reduce the rate of crime in California. From the reading, an analysis of FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) data shows that, “Three strikes are producing a disappointing crime-control impact.
       From my perspective, the Three Strikes policies is great. Because although in California it might not worked as we expected, in other states, it worked a lot.
       In China, the death penalty is allowed, I think it makes senses, because it represents the supreme of law and it threaten the criminals which might reduce the crime rate. So, in this sense, the death penalty could make a lot of sense.

According to the article, three strike policy was original prompted by two murders and supported by National Rifle association. Back to 90s, the high criminal rate in many American big cites have sparked people’s anger on the American criminal justice system. After two murders took place in California and Washington, people start to campaign for the pass of Three strike policy; eventually, the law have been implemented in many American state. For some criticizers, the Three strike law has increased the incarceration rate in the US, many people have been locked up for some pity crime. As a result, the government have spend huge amount money to keep these criminals in the jail. In my opinion, one of the reason the US have such high criminal rate  is because the unemployment in most cites have forced many people to steal. Instead to lock those pity primal up fro 25 years the government should provide them skill training program which can give the opportunity to find a job and prevent them to steal again. 
   The death penalty is allowed in China. In my opinion, the purpose of the death penalty is to punish the criminal who committed very serious crime, such as first-degree murder. However, the justice system is not perfect, sometimes an innocent person can be mistakenly charged for first-degree murder that he or she never committed. Especially, to those people who didn’t had money to hire a good attorney before their trial; therefore, they were sentenced to death without proper defense. The use of death penalty is to deter crime, but it doesn’t work in reality. According to one of the police's views, there are many police chief who believe the lack of law enforcement and drug abuse are the top two causes of crime. Instead of wasting money on the death penalty, the government should give the police department and DEA more funds to prevent crime and fight the drug

The criticizers states that the one of the negative consequences is Three Strikes laws have a negligible impact on most states' imprisoned populations, except California, Florida, and Georgia which still have high crime rates. Another consequence is that three strikes states had no greater reductions in crime than no-strikes states. In addition, the most important reason for reduction in crime is the improvement of economy rather than criminal justice policies.

I think this policy is stupid because it is just a tool for politician to improve their power by using fear, people participate into the political competition unnoticeably. However, the event helps me a lot. Before I can't understand  Season 7 of American Horror Story, now I know it is same with this event. Both of them is talking about the politician try to use fear to increase the power and ignore the huge negative effect.

The death penalty is allowed in China, and it is a debate. In my opinion, I agree that taking penalty on people who commit no-humanity crimes such as selling children and rape because they have forgotten what a human is. 

I believe if the government  focus more on people and care more about people, the rate of crimes will drop a lot.

This was approve by President Clinton because of the pressure of California. Many people vote for it but then they realized that the prison were having so many prisoners, and costs a lot of money for the government.  The consequences of this was that there many people that went to jail for non-violent crimes. Such as, homeless or drug users. 
I don´t agree with death penalty because you are taking away his life instead of giving him a chance. I think it is the same thing as killing someone driving or with a gun. In my country there were never death penalties. Because in my country nothing works everything is corrupt, and any judicial body works.

The three strikes policies are considered being the effective law that increased the punishment for more than two severe crimes to the life sentence. Also, they think that will reduce the crimes numbers and it will make criminals think a lot before committing their crimes. The benefits of three strikes policies, there was a high drop in the crime rates in several states in USA. However, there are negative to this law as the criminal may return again to do more crimes than before. Also, I think the  negatives are more than positives in this matter. In UAE, the death penalty is allowed. In my opinion, I think it should not be allowed because the person after the prison can change and become better. Dealth penalty is allowed in Vietnam. From my opinion, I think it is inhuman and useless. Firstly, when killing the crimes, it not only cannot reduce the rates of crime, but also, it wastes money for dealth penalty. There were the advantage of this law when the criminal have places to stay, the citizens could be feel more safe at that time when those criminal just did some serious crime like murder or kidnapped. However, the consequences of this law is there are some innocent "criminal" that already put in the prison didn't commit any violent crimes, they just did some non-violence crimes, but they still considered as the third time they commit the crime so they have to stay in jail for 25 years or more than that or can be all the rest of their life staying in the prison. Instead of put too much money to keep these "criminal" in jail, the government can consider to use those money more efficiency by helping these uneducated "criminal" to have the wide knowledges and provide some jobs for them to make sure they will have a better life and will not re-make any crimes again. 

In the country that I come from, Viet Nam, this country is still a traditional country so the death penalty is still allowed but not in common. The death penalty in Viet Nam also happened when there were some very very serious crime like murdered a whole family members with 8 people or some similar serious crimes. I don't support death penalty because of the immoral , however, if there are no other effective ways to deal with the murder and there are no ways to make sure that these murder will not re make what they did, maybe dead penalty can be an pretty effective way to keep to society more safe.
