My first experience internship at Sunway Lost World. My expectation was very high in Lost World because i think Lost World has the best environment while doing an internship there. My first week in Lost World was going well because our supervisor, and team leader are teaching us how to handle the call from guests. From answering the call from our guest, I gained so much experience and gained a lot of knowledge about Sunway Lost World Hotel.

When we started the second week at Lost World Hotel, our supervisor gave us a new task. The supervisor is giving us a chance to start learning how to "check out" guests in the hotel using the system. Check out is the easiest thing that is being learned because you just need to collect the key cards from guests. This is my first experience using the system and the first time i see how the hotel system. In this second week, my supervisor only allowed me to check out guests because the other things, may take time for me to learn.

The third week at Lost World Hotel, makes me feel comfortable and I gained a lot of knowledge of being in the front office. This time I learned how to make the key cards for the hotel room. To make the key cards, you need to insert the date from and until the date and also time in the system. After that, you can insert the key card in the machine. This key card is also very sensitive to electronic devices such as phone, car keys and smart watches. When guest put together with their electronic device, the key card auto deactivates and I need to make the new key. The third week in the hotel, makes me feel happy because my new friend is fun and also likes to help me when I ask for the things that I don't know. This week I also learned about how to check in guests in the systems.

This is me during the ScreamFest event in Sunway Lost World of Tambun. The benefit of an internship in Lost World is the company give free complimentary tickets for interns and for their staff. I felt very relaxed because there were many shows and many ghosts inside the theme park. This event started from 6 October until 31 October and it is only every friday to sunday. This is my first experience I felt very enjoyed when I entered the theme park full of ghosts.

During this week, my supervisor showed me and another friend to see the room that was provided by Lost World Hotel. In this picture is the family room which has two single bed and one king size bed. There are a few types of rooms that are provided by Lost World Hotel such as Exotic room, Classical room, Deluxe room, Family Suite and lastly is Haku Suite. Exotic and Classic have two types such as twin beds or king beds and the difference of this is the view. The view of exotic room has a housing view and the classical is theme park view. The most expensive room in Lost World Hotel is Haku Suite and the room is very beautiful.

Week 6 is the most hectic week when I was at Lost World Hotel. This picture is during the deepavali time and all of our supervisor, team leader, and all of our friends also need to wear a deepavali clothes. During this time, the hotel is full of guests and it is very challenging to me because this is my first time to handle guests and giving them good customer service. This picture is also the last picture at Lost World hotel because the next month my supervisor sent me to Sunway Onsen Hospitality to gain a new experience there.

This is the picture during the induction in Sunway Lost World. The Human Resource department arranges the induction for new staff and new interns. They make two days of induction to bring the new staff or intern to know about the theme park. This programme also has a task to do and to solved it with a new friend. I felt very happy because this programme can gain my knowledge about the theme park and also all about Sunway Lost World. But at the same time, I felt homesick during this week. So, after the days of induction, I made the decision to come back to my hometown in Bagan Serai which takes one hour and fifteen minutes to arrive.

Some of the menu that was provided in Sunway Lost World. Dulang Tea House is a famous place in Lost World and has a special menu to serve customers. The special menu is roasted rice tea and roti bakar with chicken curry. This menu is the famous one among customers, this makes me feel like I want to try this. My friend and I decided to try this and it is very tasty. The taste of Roasted rice tea is very unique and I can describe how their taste and everyone that visit Lost World of Tambun need to try this.

Everything is okay at Onsen Hospitality Suites and I felt very enjoyed it because it can make a new friend and I also gained new knowledge about this apartment. There has a three types of this apartment such as Topaz Suite, Amethys Suite and lastly is Sapphire Suite. The difference between these three is topaz is one bed room, amethys is two bed room with large double bed and one single bed meanwhile sapphire is one extra large double bed, one large double bed and one single bed. The service in Sunway Onsen is different between Sunway Lost World Hotel and it make me feel interested to learns a new things.

This is what we prepared before guests come to check in. Before we proceed to check in, I need to print the registration card under the guest name and also need to print their payment support. We also need to provide guests with a facility card because to access the main door, lift and all the facilities that we provided in level 5, guests need to scan the facility card. The facility that is provided in Sunway Onsen is a swimming pool, hot spring, sauna, gym and kindergarten. Guests that are stayed in this apartment can enjoy this things and Sunway Onsen also is beside Lost World of Tambun. A few units in Sunway Onsen have a theme park view which is that guests can see all of the theme parks from inside the unit. We also provide all the remote to guests to use in the unit.

This is my friend that helps me a lot of other things and beside me also my housemate likes to help me while doing the assignment. I enjoyed doing an internship in Lost World because we laughed together, doing work together and also having lunch or dinner together. If we feel stress while working, we are using a complimentary ticket to go inside the theme park to enjoy the ride, pool and any other things. Lastly, this week is also a tough week because I need to take a medical certificate in three days. This is because of my health issues.

This week my friend brought me to see every type of unit in Sunway Onsen. The picture above is the view inside the unit and it can see all the theme parks and it was the best experience for me because I can see the whole theme park from this apartment. The view is so amazing and I like to see it everyday when I am working and it make me feel calm and relaxed. Sometimes when I has a free time, I went to roof top of Sunway Onsen to see this view and it also motivated me to increased my spirit doing internship in Lost World of Tambun.

This week I feel so motivated doing all the assignments and I feel so excited because semester 7 is about to end and another one semester left. This week is not busier than last month because Sunway Onsen is full of guests. The picture above is the place that I visited because it relaxed my mind while doing an internship there.

The last week before the end of semester 7 is I just do the work as usual such as check in guests and also check out guests. This week is also a hectic week for me because I need to finish all my assignments and video presentations to our supervisors. This picture is during my last day internship in Lost World for semester 7 and I hope the next semester doing an internship in Lost World is easiest for me and also always happy while working there. I also hope that next semester I can learn new things and can get an opportunity to try another department in Lost World of Tambun.
