Mesopotamian literature later informed and influenced the writings of other cultures, including ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.” (Writing article, paragraph 7.)

This just basically explained that without the written language that came out of Mesopotamia we wouldn’t have come up with the language that we have today. This also explains that cuneiform/ the written language of Mesopotamia is the most important cultural contribution to have come out of Mesopotamia, or the most important for the Mesopotamian civilization.

This basically just explained that before the written language there was still a large hole in the development of civilization but once the written language was created that hole was filled immediately because of how effective this was. This also helped to record the secrets of time because if Mesopotamia didn’t make a written language then we might not have had a language or the same language that we have today if they didn’t record cuneiform on clay tablets that stood the test of time.

This basically just explained that if the written language that was from Mesopotamia didn't exist then these stories that we are hearing today wouldn't actually exist. This also would mean that the culture that we hear about Mesopotamia and the religion and even Mesopotamia itself wouldn't even existed in our lifetime. Sure it would have been there but we wouldn't have had any evidence about it even existing without cuneiform and the people of Mesopotamia writing it down on slabs of clay.

However, some other people might disagree and have a better belief in Social Structure. This is because of the fact that Social Structure is the building blocks of making a civilization become reality. You need to create roles for the people of your civilization to be sure that chaos doesn’t break out and everybody thinks that they are king or queen. So you have to have a reason to be there.
