This also would mean that the culture that we hear about Mesopotamia and the religion and even Mesopotamia itself wouldn't even existed in our lifetime. Sure it would have been there but we wouldn't have had any evidence about it even existing without cuneiform and the people of Mesopotamia writing it down on slabs of clay.
