I think those groups formed alliances for first of all an interest in overthrowing the other groups but also to gain political and military support

Poverty because Diaz's regime "The Porfiriato" during the time of the Mexican Revolution was focused on giving the grand majority of the resources and money to haciendas that wealthy people owned and there were many signs of inequality and lack of political or social representation by other political powers or citizens and there were little to no rules that helped the quality of life of normal or poor citizens instead were exploited

Countries form alliances in sustainability goals

Countries form alliances to create SDGs due to environmental, political, social, or economic factors.

By forming alliances, countries can have a larger chance of solving global problems and their internal benefits such as having more opportunities in global markets, improving the relationship with other countries, and improving the quality of lifestyle.

But on the other side of the coin countries also ally and go global in sustainability goals to try to change the picture that other countries have for them and to also try and get a benefit for them

Also due to the agricultural and crops disruption there was less food each time and the food prices went up
