Emcee team was overstaffed. If there is a need for many staff to be in-charge of emcees then there is a need for clear division of roles. There was also lack of continuity as different pairs of teachers took charge of the various rehearsals, making it difficult to track the emcees' progress.

Showcase more groups 

During SYF years, we can try showcasing other CCA group's demonstration or performance in between prize-giving instead of stressing the aesthetics groups for the concert items. E.g. SJAB/Robotics mock-up competition demonstration, UG static precision drills, TKD demonstration, etc.

Consider the feasibility to take out performance items as the programme is too long. A good seating is about 1 hr or 1.5h. Without concert items. No doubt it is a form of recognition for these performing groups, another similar type of concert (appreciation of performing arts) can be arranged for them to fully showcase their capabilities for interested students. I find the effort put in is too much, too many groups involved.
