I really appreciate that our admin was willing to allow us to add interventions to help students where they need, especially by adding the dyslexia and reading interventionists. We are the only high school with a dyslexia program in the district!

I do not know much about how the leadership team has functioned in the past, but I know this is always a key point to emphasize in a team, especially as the year goes on and people become tired. I will make it a goal in my collaboration this year to always listen with empathy.

We do a great job of supporting students to grow. We can focus on the 4th PLC question: "How will we respond when students already know it?"

I think we are patient and committed to allowing lead members the opportunity to take positive risks and trust that we will work together. I think we've accomplished trust between the PLC conference bonding and collaborative conversations.

One challenge we have we have is still addressing obstacles in a positive manner to encourage forward progress towards the higher expectations. Another challenge is adjusting to the new expectations with PLCs.
