FISSC Survey Purpose: Reflect on how the survey informs learning design and continuous improvement. Review the FISSC Survey doc. for knowledge and understanding, then we will move into breakout rooms. Note: All of us will be utilizing the survey. Pam and Jen have defined how we will use the survey based on Contract Deliverables. Lisa will lead the evaluation process and will build all the surveys. The protocol will be finalized with Lisa and entered into the TIG Manual by July 1st, 2025.

Shana - Standard 2 is the one that I feel like I apply the most. More specifically, I think Learning Design is connected to the courses and our CCoT tools and resources. For technical considerations I think the 20/80 rule is something to think about how it may apply to the online courses.

Julie-Standard 2 Checklist: Transformational Processes 2.3 Learning Design (making connections to their own work, providing examples, demonstrations &/or demonstrations) stood out for me. I try to do this with the teams I work with mainly for their connections but also because it helps me be more connected to the work and this is how I often am "bought-in" to work I am asked to do.

Megan- The strategies around implementation stood out more for me (2.4) Being prepared for pushback (the lack of time was a great example I hear often) and doing the follow-up are areas that I don't put enough emphasis on. I think this also applies to the technical considerations- providing multiple ways for follow-up is so important and often overlooked.

Robin--I resonated most with 2.2. There's always the discussion of not having enough time to engage in this work. However, I have found that through coaching, mentors feel heard and there's space and time to problem solve and reflect on next steps.

Shana - Resource Brokering - Creating and updating the courses and creating/updating resources for the CCoTs have been a recent focus for my TA work.

Shelley- Probably because this just happened, what stands out is the consultation and then go into resource and coaching. I had a couple tough Beyond 18 district calls in the last week, that I listened and consulted with individual districts, ran by DPI on some things to share and then came back to them with resources and some options. We have follow up calls set up-- not to go on but this definition is how I connected.

Megan- I continue to benefit from professional development on what good coaching can look like for our teams, what good mentoring really looks like and how to implement it in our schools with the issues that urban schools face. PD on how to support attendance issues, and creative ways to get students credits when they need to work to support their families would also be helpful in my work.
