Instead, I think this ad's intended demographic is more along the lines of the "achievers". Based on the clean white clothes and country club look, I believe this ad is meant for a wealthier group of consumers. Along with the posh environment, the ad also features a mother and son relationship, which would appeal to the achievers because they are said to posses a strong commitment to their families, as well as have a strong emphasis on money. Several more defining characteristic of the achiever are that they are goal oriented and hard working.. I believe all these are shown in this advertisement, albeit, subtly. As I mentioned before, it seems we are looking in at a county club or maybe on a yacht, which is not a place the average joe hangs out. Or, based on their attire, maybe they are taking a break from some tennis matches, relating to hard working upperclass.
