Thank you so much for everything that you did for the Firm, for our people and for us your Partners and friends. You are truly an embodiment of what a Partner should be. You always seem to see the positive side of things no matter what, a quality i want to embody as i chug on ahead. We all need positivity and laughter — always, especially when the going gets tough. And as i think about it more, laughter is your greatest gift and one that you have so unselfishly shared with others.
I do hope you continue to feel fulfilled as you embark on this next chapter of your life. We will miss the daily interactions but we are secured in the thought that you will always be there for us — as a friend and former colleague.

Hi LJM! It has been a year since I joined and you've been an integral part of my sense of belonging at SGV. Thank you for the chats, calls, and most of all, for your guidance and wisdom. Although, we were unable to spend more time in person, I am sure and I hope that when you retire, we can find time to meet and talk about anything. As a fellow Aussie, I also hope to host you in Brissy or visit you when I find myself in Melbourne. Hi Boss!

Congrats on your retirement!

I'm grateful to have landed a very generous and knowledgeable boss on my first job. I consider myself as lucky as well to have worked with you for one of your last SGV clients and witness how knowledgeable and competent you are to your clients.

I've had the best experience in SGV because of you. The libreng gala to places I've never been to had always been part of my core memory. It's quite sad though that covid hit the last few years you have with SGV. But I'm immensely grateful still, for continuous support despite of not having been able to see us often anymore.

As part of the LJM Cebu staff, the geographical distance would've put us out of place when it comes to gatherings with the Makati team but you never allowed that to happen and had always made sure that our team is included and comfortable.

I hope you'll have an enjoyable retirement boss now that you are always with your family now. We hope you visit us here from time to time though or pwede din kami ung magvvisit sa inyo haha.

Congratulations on your retirement! I am truly grateful for having you as my first ever boss in the working world. I remember when I joined the cluster, I was very shy and quiet, but slowly, I was able to be more confident in myself and in my work.

Thank you for all the opportunities and the learnings. I won’t forget all the experiences, the jokes, and especially the makulit moments. I also really enjoyed the libre because other than free food, it allowed all of us the opportunity to get to know you and each other more. It is because of you as well that I learned to enjoy and value my profession, especially with regard to risk. Seeing you in action made me learn to love the job, and continue to keep doing better.

Thank you very much for everything, Boss! I am very lucky and blessed, professionally and personally, to be assigned to your cluster and to have known and worked with you in the past 5 years. You were always sooooo amazing and inspiring whenever I hear you discuss with the clients and with our teams on engagement and work-related topics. Your experiences and insights really inspire us to achieve more and always focus on the value that we can give.

Thank you also for always being so generous to us, pati sa libre even sa usual na food ng mga alipin (haha!) na sisig sa Rada up to the very sosyal restaurants. Hahaha! We miss the lunch and dinner with the whole cluster, including all the chika and laughter.

Thank you for the life and career advices. You are like a father in the workplace. Thank you for all your contributions. I'll carry all my learnings from you and your advices in the next chapters of my life. I hope to make you proud that I was once under your team, someday. :)
