When I sat down with Karen Floor as we explored a possible handover from CEO to Executive Director in Nov 2020, she shared about the Lord speaking to her about a successor and Isaiah 49 on the hidden, polished arrow. Little did she know just how meaningful that Scripture was to me - a prophetic word about a bow and arrow, a devotion in the Kairos Course on The Arrow, and Isaiah 49 in particular. That week I went into work and was told about some Christmas gifts for kids that had been brought in a year later than promised and were now not needed. "What are they?" I asked. "A bow and arrow set!" I asked if I could have them because "They are prophetic!" Early in January 2021 as Karen welcomed me to the team, we opened our gifts of a crossbow! The arrow was our of the quiver.

We are grateful to the Lord for WSA for the impact it had in our lives when we served with you in 2014-2015. It was a privilege to be part of the Oral Bible Translation work among the San people groups in Southern Africa, and Maria part of the HR team. We learned a lot and God is using that in our new roles in Romania and Europe. May God bless you richly to be a blessing to many others. Thank you for your collaboration and significant contribution to the BT movement.
