Most of my professional experience comes from the Child Development Lab on Chico State's campus, where I started as an intern and worked my way to full time teacher in the toddler room (2-3 years). 

Currently, I am a head teacher in an 2-3 year old room at SF State's Early Childhood Education Center. I have been there since August 2017. I currently live in San Francisco, CA with my husband and our two identical cats. I work on campus at SF State in the Early Childhood Education Center as an infant/toddler teacher. 

I grew up in LA, but lived in Chico for college and  a few years afterwards. Living in the city has been more fun than I was anticipating and I am enjoying exploring the Bay Area. My husband is a graduate student at UCSF, so we know how to keep ourselves busy!

My journey began with compensation issues at my current job and I began to work on raising early educator compensation throughout all of San Francisco.
